Launch Of HELP At Tiruvallur District




Introduction of HELP
(Largest program of its kind)

Heartfulness Education Trust’s Successful Launch of “Heartfulness experience life’s potential Program’ (HELP) at Tiruvallur District of Tamil Nadu.
Session for 110 Sstudents of Cholavaram Girls Higher Secondary Govt. School,
This is covering over 5 lakh students. HELP Program is for students of grades 10-12, which is a 16-week certificate course on life-skills integrated with Heartfulness meditation tools for their self-development. The HELP program is running in massive scale in Junior Colleges across all districts of Andhra Pradesh. Last academic year, we covered 2.5 lakh students and this year, we are scaling up even further to cover 5 lakh students just in A.P. We have also received a Govt. request from Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu to take HELP program across 50 schools (30,000 students) in the district to take HELP program across 50 schools (30,000 students) in the district.

Structure of HELP:
Help session will be delivered as weekly sessions, with one-period per week as the delivery mechanism. Every session will cover a unique topic on life skills and values, followed by practical experiential session on Heartfulness tools and techniques. A typical session break is as follows.

· 20 Minutes: Topic – related presentation and interaction
·  20 Minutes: experiential session on Heartfulness Meditation tool
·  5 Minutes: Q& A and follow-up

My Heartfulness Experience


Meditation leads to peaceful mind

I have been experiencing the benefits of HeartFulness sessions since one year. It helped me a lot to keep my focus on studies. Radha Saxena Ma’am from the HeartFulness Institute Team has taught us by showing the power point presentation based on different topics which made it very easier for me to manage my studies with all the other important stuffs, during our first session she taught about the time management through an experiment by which I have become able to manage all the other work along with the relaxation of mind easily. Then, during sessions of HeartFulness based on different topics were very much helpful as being as student. And through this regular HeartFulness meditation practice easier I could be calm and patient during hard time.
Now I’m regular in my practice and also I would like to recommend this HeartFulness meditation practice to all.

Multiple Intelligence


What is Multiple Intelligence:
Multiple intelligence is something we are born with, that it can be measured and that it is difficult to change, books have a lot of definition. But is intelligence really limited to only knowing and applying facts? Is it difficult to change and nature intelligence?
Intelligence is not just a human thing. Animals co-exist exhibiting various forms of intelligence. In fact, there is increasing evidence that individually ants, bees, elephants and termites are very intelligent, among all these Elephants are the most intelligent, socially intricate and emotionally complex species. The ability for human beings to live in a society is but natural. In fact, the famous philosopher Aristotle says, “Man is by nature a Social animal”. Social intelligence is defined as the capacity to know oneself and to know others. More importantly how we relate and connect with others plays a major role in exhibiting social intelligence.

Why to Learn about Multiple Intelligence:
So, what prevents us from knowing the true intention of the other person and live harmoniously with one another?  I am communicating based on my judgement about circumstances, people, environment and myself. I see situations from different perspectives because I am pre-conditioned. So, these social behaviors are not definitive but subject to various conditions. What is the root-cause of all these pre-conditions that prevents me from clearly seeing the true intentions of the other?
Please do not rush with your answers. Close your eyes for 2 minutes and introspect in silence.
The Heartfulness practice of meditation helps in regulating the mind and the rejuvenation technique helps us to remove the effect of likes and dislikes thereby bringing in a state of purity and simplicity.

This topic of Multiple Intelligence has been covered under HELP – Vol – 2 So far in Sri Chaitanya Jr College,Narayana Jr college,  Vivekananda college, CNR College, Mahatma Jr College, and 35 other colleges in Chittoor, Kurnool, Prakasham, Srikakulam, Vijayawada, 38 colleges of Kadapa, Krishna, Guntur, Godavari and several districts of A.P.

INTRODUCTION

HELP (Heartfulness – Experience Life’s Potential) is a 16-week certificate course provided by Heartfulness Education Trust on Life-Skills integrated with meditation tools for self-development and it is offered as a course for 10th – 12th std students across the country. Last year, this program has covered 2.5 lakh students mainly in Andhra Pradesh in 850+ junior colleges. For this academic year, in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Heartfulness Education Trust is taking this HELP program across all districts of both these states planning to cover more than 5 lakh students. In Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu, we are taking this program to 50+ schools covering 25,000+ students of 10th – 12th std. Apart from these three states, across the country, the HELP program is offered in 100’s of schools who have embraced our Heartfulness education programs.

The sessions on life-skills are short 20-minute facilitated video sessions and the topics are mentioned below:

My Heartfulness Experience

HELP

Hello friends,
This is Soundarya from Chennai, Tamilnadu.
I study in 10th standard of  school, today something very different happened in my school. Heartfulness meditation team came to my school and they conducted relaxation session for students of 10th class with some presentations over how to remove stress in life.

Pre-Meditation Observation:
I had lot of doubts in my mind the moment I entered into auditorium for session of Help, I was feeling confused about meditation and all which I have never done before. They started session with question that what causes you under the stress? So first thing came to my mind was my academic results…..

They asked few more questions like; how to handle this stress? How can we get such state of balance which can help removing or regulating stress? Why to meditate on the heart?
 i was  not  clear about this idea of meditation and let alone how was I going to do it!!

Post-Meditation Observation:
It was almost 15-20-minute session of relaxation and meditation conducted by Heartfulness team for us. During relaxation I felt calmness and peace inside my heart and there was a time when I was lost somewhere…
Then they suggested to write this experience in a diary and asked for feedback. They also asked who was not able to close the eyes during meditation?

My Heartfulness Experience

 I still remember the first time when I heard of the organization Heartfulness. Back then I was a nineteen year old who had just shifted away from his home to Kolkata for college, and like any young guy, full of apprehensions and excitement. It was only during the first month of my classes that the whole batch of our year was invited to a session of meditation conducted by Heartfulness. Hosted by Mrs. Juhi Shah, it was refreshing to see a person so full of energy and yet being an epitome of strength and calmness inside. And I remember thinking there must certainly be a secret behind it. As I attended that one hour in the session, I understood somewhat what the secret was. I was inspired to join after listening to the experiences of all the personalities that praised Heartfulness to improve their quality of life. As I started coming to Heartfulness sessions on Sunday, I realized how difficult it is to keep our mind still, but how more rewarding it is to your mind and your body for the day. Prior to this experience, I had thought that mediation was something only what middle aged people did. Growing up in that age and the environment I did, I was told to focus on always working harder and faster. It almost seemed as a rebellion to tell your mind to not rush for once. I learnt from those Sunday sessions of Heartfulness that the strength can not always be in volatility or reacting to environment, which is something what most of us young people do. Strength, I learnt, is in most cases in tranquility. Meditation, is one of the primary tools to experience this bliss. And if meditation is a tool, Heartfulness is the craftsman which molds it into perfection. As almost a year has passed since I joined, I regrettably admit that I have not been able to go to those sessions as much as I would like. However, I still aim and, quite often succeed, in meditating at the beginning of each day. For that, I would give a huge credit to the Heartfulness. I sincerely hope that the family of Heartfulness lives stronger and happier than they have influenced me to be.

Hi friends, This is Fatima.

heartfulness relaxation & meditation session was being conducted today in my college and it was very unique in its approach. heartfulness conducted guided relaxation and meditation session, this is the first time i exposed to such kind of meditation and relaxation technique.
Firstly,  we were asked what make you feel stressed? So some student replied exams,loneliness,rejections and competition and so on. 
Than there was a presentation about Stress and Eustress means stress in right sense.how human body and mind response to stress and what are possible  consequences diseases when body is exposed to the stress. they elaborated about what should be the mental state so it can handle stress in productive manner and how to balance between work and life and how heartfulness meditation  facilitates to reduce stress also the other benefits of practicing this meditation like regulation of mind, helps to concentrate, brings clarity and focus, healthy sleep etc. 
Than they asked us why do we meditate on the Heart? Have you ever heard like she is very nice minded person? he is very kind-minded man? of course not.  Heart is meant to love, to care, it is the source of all the qualities so that's why we are supposed to meditate on the heart so it get purified. once source gets purified of all the other qualities itself get improved.
 During the relaxation, we were asked to gently close our eyes sit in comfortable posture and follow the instruction. there was a suggestion we supposed to have that source of light is there in heart.
