India is
land of Vedas and Shastra’s and on this holy land, women have always been profoundly indulged from lowest to highest
level of education, for the example, In Hindu religion a Goddess worshiped called
“Sarasvati “significates education and wisdom “who is considered Goddess of
education, she holds one classical instruments Veena in one hand and Vedas in
another. Which amplifies the dynamic engagement of Indian women into education,
and as we know that Indian education is based on basically fundamentals of
Vedas.

Even After 70
years of our independence, according to a report by United Nations, more than
39% of our Country’s rural population are deprived of going to school.
Moreover, 17 million girls are expected to never get to the school level. So why is there an imbalance in India?
It
is to be noted that most women located especially in rural and tribal areas
struggle for education much beyond the basic level. According to
UNESCO, Education system is deprived of educational and social dimensions of
growth apart from the teacher training, the children will also embark on a
journey of values and overall development.
Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya is one such noble initiative in
India by the Government of Gujarat state. With the sole objective of removing
inequality in education inequality through, Heartfulness Education Trust is
supplementing this splendid endeavor of Kasturba Gandhi Balika VIdyalaya by
facilitating training to teachers of heart centered education and other skills
required to be heartful teacher.
